Can I use DLC for a Region 3 game from the US Playstation Store?
I have a region 1 PS3 and a PSN account with an American address. I have a region 3 BioShock 2 disc and I'm planning to download the Rapture Retro Map Pack from the US Playstation Store. Will it work or am I going to have to get an Asian PSN account to get the DLC for my game?I tried downloading free DLC for my region 3 game from the US Playstation Store and it worked. I'm confused. Does the game really have to be Region 1 for me to use the DLC from the US store or will it work even if it isn't region 1? Someone please explain why the DLC worked.

I play a game called Socom FTB3 and a gun for it has come out in the us store. I have made a us account and downloaded it. I then went on to the game and the new hun was not there so i looked omline and i saw somone say that you can not use different reigon add ons on a different reigon game.
